PhD student position: Metabolism of vascular anomalies
The Angiogenesis & Metabolism Laboratory at the Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research invites applications for an Early Stage Researcher/Ph.D. position. The successful candidate will focus on the metabolism of vascular anomalies with the aim to understand the role and therapeutic potential of endothelial metabolic adaptions in these vascular diseases. The project is part of the EU-MSCA-ETN project V.A. Cure, which aims to uncover mechanisms that drive the formation and maintenance of vascular anomalies with the final goal to establish novel therapeutic approaches. The project is funded in the frame of the EU MSCA-ITN programme, and successful applicants will be part of an international team of 14 Ph.D. students jointly working on the V.A. Cure project.
